- Abstract
- Would be glad to carry on a small trade from Boston to New York, if he can be of service to Peter Jay. Bayard's brother James was to arrive from St. Christopher, but has not arrived. Has heard of a hurricane and fears bad news, either for his brother or his cotton. Wishes Jay to make all possible inquiries. Also has a bond of his father's due from C. Boeghaerd of Kinderhook in Albany county and wou ld like Jay to make inquiries about him. Put several barrels of codfish on the sloop Unity, John Aspinwall, as per Peter Jay's request.
