- Left Mrs. Peloquin and that family well; saw Captain Hill in Bristol, ready to sail for Boston in a sloop. Mr. Hoblense very pleased with Peter Jay. Bad trading in Boston; not a berth to be found. His son to do the Africa trade with a ship to be launched March 10; he himself won't leave until October. Various prices of goods in Boston listed.
