- Abstract
- Col. Laurens has arrived in L'Orient. Maryland has acceded to the Confederation. Virginia has given up her claims to the back lands, where two new states are to be formed. The army is completely reconciled. A gale of wind damaged the English fleet in Gardiner's Bay. The French squadron at Rhode Island was preparing to attack the English.
