- Abstract
- Littlepage is bored with his residence in a provincial household after living in a city. He could not find the memoirs of Noailles and is now reading about the history of France. Has read some of Voltaire's works and a few moral and political performances of Marmantelle. Has gained a fair knowledge of French but finds the language extremely difficult. Desires to come to Madrid immediately. P.S.: If Jay desires that Little page acquire proficiency in French, he will have to remain in France at least until the end of the year.
