Document, 1787 July 19
Abstract:
As a colleague had to leave, William is obliged to go back to Philadelphia for the Convention. Susannah Livingston will see Peter goes home safely. Discusses the boyÆs education: does not like the idea of him reading OvidÆs (?) Epistles; although important in the Latin language there are too many historical references for a boy of his age.
