Document, 1779 October 07
Abstract:
Livingston is pained that he will be separated from his daughter by the wide ocean. In case he should never see her again, he asks God's blessing for a safe voyage and happy return for her. He entreats her not to allow "the Gaieties and Amusements of the world, and the particular Avocations of what is called highlife" to forget her duties to God.
