- Abstract
- Welcomes him home; because his daughter broke her arm, he cannot come to greet Jay in person. Livingston is content to retire from politics. Even if Jay remains active, he hopes that he may see him occasionally, now that the ocean does not separate them. A crossed out section concerns a suit between Livingston and one Mr. Hoffman.
