[Document, 1783 January 03]
- Name
- Morris, Robert, 1734-1806 (Author)
- Jay, John, 1745-1829 (Addressee)
- Title
- [Document, 1783 January 03]
- Abstract
- This is presumably an ALS since it bears Jay's endorsement of receipt. However, a large portion of the letter, concerning the education of Morris' sons in Europe, has been crossed out. The crossed out section indicates Morris' decision was prompted by the lack of instructors in America, a situation which has subsequently righted itself; since the boys are in Europe he solicits Jay's advice to Ridle y in providing for their training.
