Abstract
Cannot give up his allegiance to the King, yet does not want to move from his home. Since the Convention has decreed that everyone must take an oath of allegiance to the U.S. or go with their families to the English side, has resolved to confer with his fiends and if he is convinced that reconciliation is impossible he will "share the same fate with my country."
