- Encloses extracts of letter from his father concerning recovery of his lands above Albany. Asks that Peter visit his father in Edinburgh. Before Peter goes, asks John Jay to "put him on his guard as to his father's disposition." Peter is to tell the elder Munro all he wishes about his son, but under no circumstances to mention Peter Jay Munro's mother.
