Abstract
They are happy to hear that the civil powers in America will not discountenance the installation of an American bishop by the Church of England. They are taking the necessary steps to arrange for the consecration, but first would like to clarify some aspects of the changes the American convention is alleged to have made in the beliefs of the Church of England. This they consider their duty lest the American branch depart from their doctrine.
