- Was highly gratified to receive a copy of his publication. The course he is pursuing is calculated to reflect honor even on the name of Jay. Experienced concern and regret on the death of Dr. Channing. Accounts from the West Indies are favorable in all that concerns improvement of the colored race, which is the primary concern.
