- Abstract
- Encloses some bills of exchange for acceptance by Jay and notes that so far Mr. Cabarrus has paid out only $3,000 on bills due in 60 days, which is only half the sum placed in his hands by Jay. Is told that exchange is greatly in favor of the drawer, should Jay wish to draw. The $5,000 Jay has deemed necessary to draw, which includes their salaries for a six-month period, will not be sufficient, fo r one cannot live on credit in Spain.
