Abstract
Encloses six bills for acceptance for Jay. Owners of bills expect them to be in the hands of Cabarrus tomorrow. Messrs Drouilhett and Lama have already sent for their bills, and if Jay has accepted them, he should send them by the bearer of this note. Jay's draft of his reply, with the same date, is written at the bottom of Carmichael's note: he is re turning the six bills. The bills Carmichael mentions were sent out this morning.
