- Abstract
- Mr. Munro supports Tompkins in the coming election and it has been rumored that John Jay does not disapprove. Benson has accordingly told all enquirers of Jay's sentiments that Federalists who wished to vote should support the Lewis it nomination, and that in consistently following party principles no Federalist could vote for the Clintonian candidates.
