Abstract
Believes there is a mistake in Carmichael's accounts concerning presentation of 53 bills of Messrs. Druillet on August 21 since they are dated 12 and 17 July and could not have arrived in Madrid so soon. Jay will not accept the bills until Carmichael can clear up the matter by seeing the Druillets.
