Abstract
Enclosing an account of the bills he has accepted. This business should be attended to with great care and regularity. Carmichael is to record the bills in a proper book, noting down the number, letter, date, sum, and other details of each bill. In the future he is to compare all bills he receives with the ones already recorded in his book and if he finds on comparison that there are no objections to them, they are to be entered and accepted.
