Abstract
Captain Cooke of Salem has arrived at Bilboa with the news that Ternay landed at Rhode Island. He is under the necessity of deciding the fate (?) of the bills drawn on him by next Monday. He has already informed Floridablanca of this and wants Carmichael to let Montmorin know it also. In a postscript he states that he has received from the Dr. a letter of credit for 1,000 livres? or pounds?
