- Abstract
- He has the honor of informing Jay that today he was presented to the King, the prince of Asturias, and the princess as Charge des Affaires of the United States of America. He is most satisfied with their conduct and that of Floridablanca on this occasion. Should Jay receive any instructions from Congress relative to the American mission in Spain he hopes he will receive a copy soon, if Jay will not be returning to Spain.
