- Abstract
- Does not think England will reject the mediation of Spain. All Europe except Russia is against her. Denmark, the Emperor, Holland, Portugal are also England's natural allies. We must remain vigilant. 3000 enemy troops arrived and are in sickly condition. Washington has endeavored to establish correspondence with those living within the enemy lines.
