- Abstract
- The emperor of Morocco sent a letter to Congress which evidently miscarried informing them of his peaceful intentions and desire to let American ships trade in Moroccan waters under their own flag the same as the English. Sends Jay a number of papers on the matter. If the emperor's ideas are acceptable, American ships should let Moroccan ships pass un molested.
