Abstract:
Has just accepted bills drawn on Henry Laurens; hopes Jay and Benjamin Franklin approve of what they did and the proposed method for reimbursement if Mr. Laurens does not appear, as they cannot stand for the whole. The bills should be honored for the credit of America. Wants only to be æempowered to draw again for any sums we might acceptÆ.
