Abstract
The French Ambassador was very friendly and full of candor. France has agreed to furnish us with 3 million livres for every year the war shall continue; they are also sending more land and sea forces to America. Floridablanca, not Galvez, is the man to see and Montmorin is arranging a meeting. Miralles has received instructions to get American troops to aid in the conquest of Florida. Assured no overtures made for peace. Sends a paper from America.
