- Family news. Has heard that Lafayette and his attendants travelled the whole way to Boston in a thick cloud of dust; he may apply the maxim, "nulla sine Pulvere Palmo," in both senses. As he is expected in New York this week, perhaps details of his route and intentions can be obtained before his departure for the South.
