- Abstract
- Happy to find that the States have granted to Congress "the impost"; it will raise America's prestige in Europe, and its beneficial effects will soon be felt in America by producing circulation of property "the long stagnation of which has been a principal cause of the distress of the community." Awaits the orders of Congress in the problem of evacuat ion of posts and payment of debts.
