- Abstract
- Next Monday is a critical day; the bills other than Messr. JoyceÆs will be presented. Mr. Gardoqui in Bilboa writes that he has received bills in John JayÆs name for 13335 dollars and will ship goods totaling that amount to America immediately. If an immediate acceptance is required, it will gravely hurt American credit. They will again ask at what ho use in Bilboa these bills are to be accepted, and John Jay once again begs de Florida Blanca for help in this matter. In Spanish and English.
