- Abstract
- Negotiations begun by Mr de Rayneval and others failed in Nijmegin, where they refuse all beneficial things. The states of Holland will meet on the 10th. They were informed what had happened. The crisis seems to be in its last stages. Mr. de Rayneval will probably only wait for the return of the last courier sent to Versailles to return there. No more diplomatic talk; one needs categorical steps. Was desperate last month and had to draw $1000 or 2500 florins from the bankers. In French.
