- Abstract
- Acknowledges receipt of 11 November 1795. The letter enclosed for Captain Trumbull was forwarded to him in Paris. Bayard is happy to inform John Jay of recent favorable decisions both in the Court of Appeals and in the Court of Admiralty. He thinks that a change of policy has taken place because of Washington's ratification of the treaty of Great Brit ain.
