- Abstract
- Acknowledges receipt of 8 and 15 February with their enclosures. Washington will proceed immediately with the court martial ordered by the CongressionalResolution of 11 February. In a letter dated 11 February, General McDougallstated that he needed a thousand dollars for secret intelligence. Washingtonsent him fifty guineas, which was all he could spa re. Draft in hand of Alexander Hamilton.
