- Letterbook copy. Misdated "1774." Sends Jay, as President of Congress, a "Letter (which lately fell into my hands) which may perhaps be of some use to file among the papers of Congress." Proof that the British have tried "to procure both our domestic Slaves & the Savages of the Wilderness to destroy us," beginning in 1775.
