Abstract
Jay earnestly requests an answer to his letter of April 24, 1784 concerning their private accounts. He would also like Carmichael to set the date for the settlement of their private account. He would also like to know if Carmichael carried out his instructions of 20 Sept. 1783, asking him to forward a trunk of Jay's to Mr. Harrison at Cadiz, and the date on which the trunk was sent.
