Delay mentioned by Carmichael is unimportant. Jay is glad Carmichael has changed so much of the silver as Jay must carry the money to San Ildefonso, and the more portable it is, the better. Jay will probably need more than one cart and whatever spare room there may be in it or the first will be at Carmichael's disposal.
