- Abstract
- Sorry to always be soliciting Franklin about the bills. Spain silent on our propositions. Has asked Floridablanca for money for December. but as yet no answer and so asks Benjamin Franklin again. Thirty thousand would put an end to the whole business. The price of protest would be so much more. Still thinks Spain will aid us but not in season. Perhaps we could repay the French court in America. Con gress should prefer this method to protest. Hopes for defeat of Cornwallis. Crops in America abundant.
