Abstract
Has been frustrated by difficulty of getting a letter to her in New York; was told that Mr. Livingston was going, but found out too late to write. The weather being very warm in Philadelphia, he wishes Congress could move their meetings north. Will see Sarah Livingston Jay as soon as he can leave his situation with propriety. Wishes to write so much m ore but fears the fate of letters.
