- Abstract
- Draft. Mr. Baring delivered letter; glad of opportunity to show respect for his father. Happy to hear that Shelburne has returned to health. Awaiting news from Europe on how the campaign ended and if it will bring peace during the winter. Hopes establishment of government in France will promote this aim, although many obstacles. Doubts Monsieur Rayneval will enjoy public confidence and wonders what his politics would be.
