- Abstract
- Has received the letter on Dr. Eliot. The sermon describing the latter's character is full and clear, and leaves no room for doubt or scruple. The intended memoir in the next volume of the Historical Collections will serve to bestow praise well merited in a handsome manner. Asks for the first volume of the new series, as well as the tenth volume before mentioned, to be sent to him through Peter Aug ustus Jay, who will pay for them.
