Abstract
Several letters brought to L'Orient and put into the post office there have not reached him in Madrid. In the future, ask captains to give letters for Jay to Johnson for transmittal. All letters to Jay put into the post office go first to Paris for inspection -- or to Madrid if they arrive in Spain.
