- Abstract
- Has not been able to return a positive answer to John Jay's letter since new difficulties have arisen among the vestrymen. A meeting is scheduled for next Thursday which should bring matters to a final settlement. It is a great satisfaction to see "men of wisdom and wealth commiserating the destitute condition of our Church, and endeavouring to diffuse the blessed influence of Christian principles. .."
