Abstract
Foresaw that any treaty with Great Britain would be opposed by that country's debtors, by Antifederalists, and by partisans of France, he was not prepared, however, for the censure of certain individuals. Has not published anything for the defense of the part he has acted. Thanks Drayton for his letter and the motives which produced it.
