- Abstract
- The Corporation of the City of New York are planning a 50th anniversary celebration of the Declaration of Independence. By the firmness and wisdom of John Jay and his compatriots our country has been placed in a rank with the most favored nations of the earth. His attendance at the celebration would afford high gratification.
