- Abstract
- Presents herself as an "old friend and countrywoman" now married to Sir Gilbert Affleck of Dalham Hall, Suffolk. Introduces three young men, John Stewart Wortly and Mr. Stanley, both Members of Parliament, and a young gentleman of their acquaintance. Thinks he will forgive the liberty she has taken as they are "very different to most English men visiting that Country."
