- Abstract
- Recently heard that some property of the late Dr. Franklin had come to light and that no heirs could be found who were legally entitled to receive it. Writes to John Jay as the only executor of Franklin's will known to him. As his mother, a great-niece of the Doctor, is presently living with her husband in a state of dependency on their friends, Hudson feels it his duty to make enquiries about any such circumstances concerning the estate.
