- Abstract
- Aaron Ward of Sing Sing, in advocating the cause of petitioners from Westchester County for the authorization of the sale of the court houses at Bedford and White Plains and the designation of a place for a new court house, has reported John Jay as predicting the abandoning of the present sites and the placement of a new one. Knowing John Jay's former opinions, Ward's declarations were regarded as untrue. Asks for his communication stating the facts of the case.
