- Abstract
- Writes on behalf of the family of the late Rev. Dr. John Eliot. Tells the circumstances of his death, supposedly caused either by "Angina pectoris, or an Organic disease of the heart." Encloses the sermon which was delivered on the following Sabbath. The next volume of the Historical Collections will contain a memoir on Eliot. John Jay's directions respecting the conveyance of the 10th volume of th ese Collections will be observed.
