- Thanks him for offer of potatoes and turnips; has already found another
source. Hopes he regrets his letter of November 10th, as she has invariably treated him
with courtesy. Did not intend to offend him by telling his son that she would have the
horses broken in by someone in New York; did so upon expectation that they would not be
fit yet.
