- Abstract
- Encloses a letter to Sir James Jay concerning the Peloquin legacy; it is left open for Van Schaack's personal perusal. It is difficult to deal with people who have no common sense and who mistake suspicion for penetration. If Van Schaack's son should wish to practice law, and Jay reenters that profession he will be glad to assist the young man.
