Has his letter of the tenth of April. They will discuss methods of settling the Chenango tract, in the meantime complete the deeds. Notes that Peter's name is listed as adjutant of the new legion, but not as lieutenant-remind him of this when he arrives. Send a copy of Bedford house plan by the post - he will need it when he speaks to Major Lyons. Send him wig - doesn't want to travel with a wig box.
