Advises Peter to study and improve his knowledge of the law now that business is slow. Encloses copy of letter he wrote to John Jones, purchaser of coach sold by Hallet. Jay points out to Hallet the inadequacy of the price, and offers to sell at a percentage discount from the purchases price of a new coach.
