Abstract
Sends Franklin the act of Congress for Dec. 23. Send Franklin a note relative to the act: Mr. Eikelins from Holland and resides in Connecticut. He has been writing back to Holland in order to pave the way for a commercial agreement between his country and America and to acquaint them with our views. Governor Trumbull has approved the correspondence. Eikelins has sent Colonel Diricks back to Holland to promote his views as he is connected with some of the best families there. Also sends Franklin a copy of the Congressional act on Canada passed January 1.
