- Abstract
- The third estate continues to insist upon a single chamber for the States-General, and the nobility and part of the clergy seem ready to yield. Emperor of Austria critically ill of a pulmonary condition; King of England is reportedly neither better nor worse after his trip to Hanover. Schwieghauser and Debree affair should shortly be settled in favor of the sovereign rights of the United States.
